Claire graduated in mathematics from Oxford University and commenced her actuarial career in 1993. She qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in June 1998 and joined Barnett Waddingham LLP in January 2006.

She is one of the senior members of Barnett Waddingham's London pensions actuarial team and has experience of all aspects of corporate pension arrangements.

Claire is a member of the firm's Pensions Actuarial Technical Committee. This researches new actuarial and pensions issues to ensure that appropriate advice is provided and also oversees production of the firm's quarterly newsletter. She is also an advisor for the Pensions Advisory Service.

In her spare time Claire enjoys singing in a number of choirs and travelling overseas. She has recently been fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to do a considerable amount of both during a six month sabbatical.
