2008 NAPF Annual Survey

Each year the NAPF carries out a detailed survey amongst its members. The Survey provides schemes and their advisers with an invaluable insight into the pensions market and is a unique benchmarking tool.

The 2008 Survey is based on responses from over 300 NAPF fund members - including both smaller employers and multi-national organisations.  It focuses on areas where our members frequently ask us for data on topics not covered in detail in other surveys.  The areas we have covered include:

• DB schemes now and in the future
• Trusteeship and scheme running costs
• DB strategic asset allocations and use of contingent assets
• Investment and decumulation options in DC schemes
• Potential responses to 2012 pension reforms
• Effective communications about pensions
