A one day, face to face training course which provides participants with the basic principles of trusteeship, highlighting the key trustee duties, responsibilities and powers. The course offers an ideal introduction to trusteeship.
Learning Outcomes
On completion of the course participants will

be familiar with the regulatory framework including pensions regulator, ombudsman and codes of practice
recognise the requirements necessary to carry out trustee administration
be able to identify the responsibilities of the scheme actuary and key actuarial principles
be able to identify the main risks attached to pension scheme finance
be familiar with the components of the pension scheme investment cycle
be able to determine how good governance impacts on scheme administration.
