Ben advises trustees, employers and other stakeholders on a broad range of pensions related issues including:

• establishing schemes;
• drafting and interpreting scheme rules;
• scheme funding and employer covenant issues;
• merging and winding-up schemes group reorganisations and refinancing (including applications for clearance and employer debt advice);
• buy-in / buy-out of benefits; equalisation of benefits;
• and Conflicts of interest.

A graduate of Cambridge University, Ben completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law, York and has spent the majority of his career at Wragge & Co LLP before joining Pitmans in January 2011. Ben is a member of the Association of Pension lawyers.
