NAPF Scottish Local Group

Introduction

Formed over 30 years ago, NAPF Scottish Local Group aims to support and promote the objectives of the NAPF throughout its membership in Scotland. Meetings are held in both Edinburgh and Glasgow and provide forums for lively debate on current pensions topics, often stimulated by the presence of leading figures in the pensions industry who may have quite differing points of view. Our meetings, which have CPD accreditation for PMI members, are followed by a buffet giving members the opportunity to network with others working in the pensions environment and to chat over the challenges which we all face.

Scottish Group membership currently stands at about 100 organisations, and new members, whether trustees, pension and investment managers, or advisers, are always welcome. We would be delighted to see new faces at any of our meetings, but particularly at our social evening, held in the Autumn.

One of the most popular annual events is our post AGM lunch or dinner which is becoming a favourite with our members and is very well attended. A list of our meeting dates and topics is published on this site under the "Local News" link on the left. We promise some interesting topics for discussion.

The Committee is always happy to hear the views of our Scottish Group members, together with suggestions for future meeting topics or comments on any issues which you feel the NAPF should air. We would be delighted to feed your views back to the NAPF at national level via the Local Groups Liaison Committee.

More information on membership of the Group, our events, and contacting the Committee can be found by clicking on the links on the left of the page.
