NAPF Southern Local Group

Introduction

*Download the 2007/2008 Yearbook here*

The NAPF Southern Group was set up in 1976 and serves (broadly speaking) Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire. Membership is not, however, confined to organisations based within the local area; companies outside the area whose staff live (or simply wish to attend meetings) in the area are most welcome.

This year the Group will be holding eight meetings, including a one-day seminar, at venues throughout the area. Meetings are generally held in the afternoons and this has proved most popular, especially with those who have to travel long distances.

By holding meetings on a variety of different topics, the Group tries to appeal to a wider audience than simply those involved full time in pensions. Occasional special meetings are held which are designed to attract those whose main interest is investment or personnel, for example, and we encourage those new to pensions to attend.

As a local group of the NAPF, the Southern Group is financially and operationally independent of the NAPF itself, but through the Local Groups Liaison Committee and its Local Group Representative on Council, the Group acts as a channel for communications between the NAPF and its grass roots. Members are encouraged to make their views known to the Committee or the Local Group Representative, so that these may be passed on to Council.

At the current time, there is no annual subscription for joining the Southern Group.
