Pensions Sharing on Divorce

Since 2000, pension rights can not only be taken into account in divorce settlements but they can also be divided between the divorcing couple, the process known as pension sharing. Schemes are allowed by the legislation to recover reasonable administrative costs when processing requests for information and sharing orders.
